Position: Trainer (Learning & Development Coach)
Position Highlights
As a Learning & Development Coach at GMC, you get the opportunity to educate our workforce on company, policy, and product knowledge, as well as skills training across the various campaigns that we service. The purpose of this role is to enable new team members, and transfers to receive targeted training and more personalized attention during their initial time with our organization. The Learning & Development Coach also serves as a trainer/coach for veteran team members regarding continuing education, assisting with correcting performance concerns, and coordinating coaching plans to ensure the highest performance standards are met.
A Day in The Life of a Learning & Development Coach:
Train and educate new team members and transfers for various campaign and shifts
Ensure competencies for team members on product details, successful sales techniques, responsibilities of positions and organizational policies and procedures
Create positive and pleasant connections with team members, coworkers, and customers
Provide individual development of new and veteran team members in an active manner through call monitoring, feedback, taking calls and delivering personalized attention
Share feedback on corrective actions or disciplinary actions to senior leaders
Serve as a coach for interdepartmental needs when necessary. This would include training sales advisors on topics such as how to use various programs, how to answer buying signal questions, etc.
Assess needs to identify what is necessary to help team members in the goal of maximum effectiveness
Design and implement contests and games that inspire cohesion, competition, and enthusiasm
Maintain training materials and environment. This includes checking that all information being distributed is accurate and updated and keeping training materials organized and on-hand for use when needed
Complete necessary paperwork such as daily tracking, separation of employment, new hire paperwork, team assignments, filing, reward systems, etc.
Maintain knowledge and complete ongoing training to stay connected to product, service, and policy changes
Provide Support to Managers, Operation Managers and Vice President, including but not limited to preparing and maintaining Word and Excel documents, proofreading and drafting correspondence while ensuring accuracy of grammar and spelling

Minimum Qualifications Required
12 months of Training Experience
