As a Custodian, you hold the responsibility of helping make our center a clean, comfortable and enjoyable environment for our teams and visitors alike. You will find that this is a fast-paced role with the opportunity to work independently on projects, and continue to learn new skills and trades along the way. Our perfect candidate would take great pride in their work and showcase a level of integrity for the tasks and results that they produce. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, dependable, a self-starter and has a “whatever it takes’ attitude.
A Day in The Life of a Custodial Worker
Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance, including parking lot upkeep, microwaves, tables, etc.
Light maintenance work (repair of water fountains, plumbing fixtures, electrical light repair, etc.)
Remove snow/ice from sidewalks and surrounding areas
Assist in light labor activities, such as moving furniture, heavy equipment and supplies
Maintain a neat and orderly storage area for supplies and equipment, including keeping an accurate inventory
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
High School Diploma required
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Willingness to learn new things
Proficient in Microsoft products (Windows, Office) and solid typing skills
Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to fifty pounds, have sufficient mobility to connect cables which may require climbing ladders or working under desks
Must possess visual acuity sufficient for installation and repairs of equipment
